The Long Island Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers was pleased to welcome at our ZOOM Webinar on Monday October 28, 2024 Jacob Kasbrick, Vice President of Sales- East at LuxWall, Inc., who presentied on “LuxWall Vacuum Insulating Glass – Finally, See-through Walls”.

LuxWall Enthermal high-performance glass technology significantly reduces building heating costs by up to 45% and (CO2e) by up to 40%. This technology is designed to reduce energy consumption with high-R-value, energy-efficient vacuum-insulating windows installed in existing buildings and new construction and can be customized for climatic regions and window sizes.

Jacob Kasbrick is a 2005 graduate of Michigan State University with a BA in Business Management, and has been a prominent figure in the building material supply industry since 2010. Over the past twelve years, he has held various roles at Guardian Industries, including Architectural Design Manager, Regional Manager, and Director of Commercial Segment. Jacob’s expertise extends to conducting AIA accredited seminars for numerous firms, where he focuses on educating audiences about the aesthetics and performance of glass products.

Jacob was joined by Troy Vlahos, Business Development Director and LEED Green Associate, who is responsible for business development at LuxWall, focusing on both government and commercial facilities. He collaborates closely with leaders in facilities management, architecture, energy engineering, and sustainability to promote the adoption of innovative building envelope solutions. Previously, his work with the 3M Company involved supporting Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and national property management firms in specifying and implementing energy-efficient products.  Troy is an active member of the Industry Leadership Council for the New York City Building Energy Exchange and has been a guest speaker for various organizations, including IFMA, BOMA, USGBC, ASBO, and the Building Managers Association of New York.
