The Long Island Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers at our Webinar on Monday May 12, 2025 were pleased to welcome Brian Kurtz, Manager of Special Projects with PSEG Long Island, who presented on PSEG Long Island’s Time-of-Day Program.
Brian manages PSEG Long Island’s Utility of the Future (U2.0) Project Management Office providing support for numerous projects that advance NY State’s Climate Leadership & Community Protection Act (CLCPA) goals. Previously Brian established and managed a new Customer Intelligence Department for PSEG Long Island, led an ENERGY STAR® award winning Residential Efficiency Program for the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) and developed new budgeting and financial reporting procedures.
Brian holds an Executive MBA from Hofstra University, a Bachelor of Science from Emory University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He has been interviewed in energy industry publications and his projects have been recognized with awards from ENERGY STAR®, E-Source, Chartwell, Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative, and Customer Service (CS) Week.
